Hello,
I am in the process of gathering my documents for EB1 filling. My lawyer and I went through my publication list today.
I have a number of peer reviewed publications that have been accepted and available online (with DOI - Digital Identification Identifiers) but have not yet made it to paper copies.
My lawyer is hesitant to include these "Online First" articles since they are not technically out He claimed that immigration tends to lean towards traditional publication channels and therefore it would be preferable to since technically, they are still in press.
Is this accurate? Under what conditions can one include accepted (online first) publications?
Thanks - PundaSmith

hi
my husband's GC has been approved.
so how long will it take me to get the green card ??
thank u in advance
It depends on, your Priority Date, Country of Chargability and your application's category whether it is EB1, EB2 or EB3.
You can check the monthly Visa Bulletins to see what priority dates for each category are current as of now.

The Boston Globe reports on another case of a potential DREAM Act recipient facing deportation. Alan, the individual who is the subject of the story, is the son of Mexican migrant laborers, came to the US as an infant and his academic success has been an inspiration to children in his neighborhood. Like many others, he did not learn he was illegally present in the US until he was much older - in this case, high school. The Globe notes that Alan is going to leave the US: Now Alan sees Mexico as his only option. His mother is against...

This is a case of national importance and I'm proud to say it was argued by lawyers Mikiel Davids and Karen Weinstock from my law firm's Atlanta office. Here's the press release: Siskind Susser Immigration Lawyers attorneys Mikiel Davids and Karen Weinstock of the Atlanta office recently won a landmark case in the U.S. District Court in the Northern District of Georgia against the U.S. Department of Labor. The court ordered DOL to immediately decide a pending PERM application (foreign labor certification) after finding the agency had unreasonably delayed in doing so. Our attorneys brought the case to federal court...

The H-1B system is clearly out-of-sync with the real world. Persons who qualify for cap-subject H-1Bs are allowed to apply starting April 1st each year, but can not start working until October 1st, six months later. Since the number of applications usually far exceeds the number of available visas, this means that by the second week of April, it is too late to apply. What about all of the foreign-born students who graduate from U.S. universities in June each year? Since U.S. employers can not apply for H-1B status for them until after they obtain their degrees, by June, it...

i just can't buy into the digital lens system.. Lenses are such an investment and I'd hate to go to a system like that, then a few years later have them offer their new "higher end" camera with a full frame.
I'll pass..
