Hello,
I joined and contributed already to the IV although I am not yet on the GC queue. I support you all with my heart.
I have a different concern about PERM filing. My application will be EB2 with Ms + 4 years as Senior Soft Eng, and my lawyer asked my manager to create the business necessity letter for MS degree. He is not experienced with this kind of paperwork and the lawyer seems to be just not helpful rather demanding... I was wondering if somebody in IV had to deal with this business necessity letter. Any information would be helpful...

Interesting study. The headlines this morning around the country are on the subset of children of illegally present parents which Pew is estimating is about 7% of all children born in the US. It's not a surprise to see the GOP getting increasingly crazy as they know that in the long run they'll go the way of the Whigs unless they either convince Hispanic voters to support them or disenfranchise enough of them that they can continue to win elections with only Anglo voters.

Hi,
I recently upgraded by I-140 to Premium processing. Soon after the filing of I-907, my status on USCIS status website changed from initial review to Acceptance. The message displayed is that my case has been rejected because of incorrect filing fees. I contacted my lawyer and he is confident that my upgrade was filed properly. He also told me that he has been observing same issue for several clients ,where USCIS website is displaying incorrect message. I am not sure what should be my next step. Is it something I should be worried about?
Is there some one with similar experience ?

I am working with a company in US on a H1B Visa. My Visa has been expired. I had applied for H1B extn thru my employer. Today I recd something is very unusual. I recd a H1B extn approval notice in one mail, and another mail with a RFE with the same receipt number as my receipt#.
Not sure what this would mean, Not sure what takes precedence. I know for sure, this is a unusual case. Let me know in this case what should I do. I have asked my employer to question USCIS on this, they will be doing their part tomorrow morning.
Let me know if someone has gone thru this experience. I am sure this is a one off scenario, but for sure there may be lot of helpful souls around who know how much pain it is for not having a valid I94. Personally I am going thru a tough time as my state has expired my driving license as my Visa has expired.
All help and advice is welcome with loads of wishes and good luck to all you there

A little too much desaturation, I think. Since you've kept as much red in her top as you did, you should keep a little bit of the color in her skin, otherwise it looks a little unbalanced. Her skin looks too cool in comparison.

Hi,
Got an RFE for my wife to complete the required vaccinations. She did not take 2 required vaccinations when we filed I-485 as we were expecting a baby. USCIS along with the RFE sent the original I-693 form that had been submitted and asked us to present this form to the same surgeon to complete the medical.
Question:
At this point, I believe that USCIS does not have the medical record (I-693) as they returned it to us. Will the surgeon have to give a new I-693 consolidating the new 2 tests + the tests taken earlier? This case we will send a new I-693 comprising of all tests taken to date.
OR
Specify only the 2 tests that are done now and we send to USCIS the returned OLD copy + new COPY with the 2 tests?

I think there was a change in the rules for re-entry permits - you have to submit for biometrics before you leave the U.S. - so the auntie may not be able to apply for re-entry permit if she is outside the U.S.

No, it does not mean that it is approved.
A number is just File number for Alien, for USCIS record keeping/tracking purpose.

comes up in next two years (or till unemployment goes down) will not be +ve for immigration community. Now immigration topic is of political score point not like before where there is reasonable debate was happening.
